A little help

Questions, answered.

Find your way around tea, ordering and coming to a gathering.

Tea & brewing

If you are new to our teas, begin with one of our Korean green teas or a balhyocha. Both are forgiving to brew and show what makes small-farm tea special. Our brewing guides are a good next step.

Each tea’s product page includes its own brewing guidance. Start there, then adjust the next cup to your taste.

Basically, balhyocha is an umbrella term for all tea that has been oxidized past green tea levels. Read: Balhyocha, yes, no, and what?

Keep tea sealed, away from light, heat, moisture and strong smells. A cool cupboard is ideal. Green teas are best enjoyed within a few months of opening.

Teaware

Rinse with hot water and let it air dry. Avoid soap on unglazed clay, which absorbs flavour over time.
